Ethiopian Conformity Assessment Enterprise has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Addis Ababa Science Technology University marking a major step forward in its ambition being a center of excellence in quality assurance arena. The agreement between ECAE and AASTU aims to collaborate efforts to improve institutional capacity, with a focus on human resource capacity development, technology transfer, research and development areas and quality assurance activities.
The MOU, signed by ECAE’s director general Engineer Meaza Abera and Dr. Abraham Debebe, Vice President for Research and Technology Transfer at AASTU. Engineer Meaza Abera, the director general of ECAE, emphasized the importance of such collaborations during the signing ceremony.
