Ministry of Labor and Skills Delegation Visited ECAE

The senior officials led by the Honorable Mrs. Muferihat Kamil, Minister of the Ministry of Labor and Skills, paid a visit to  Ethiopian Conformity Assessment Enterprise (ECAE).

The visit aimed to facilitating conditions for working in collaboration in terms of maintaining the quality of products and services to realize the mission of the Ministry of Labor and Skills. During the visit, the Honorable Mrs. Meaza Abera, Director General of ECAE, and Abel Anberbir, Director of Operations, gave them an overview of ECAE’s nine testing laboratories, inspection and certification processes, and capacity to offer services.

After the visit, senior ministry officials stated that, ECAE is at the point where it enables Ethiopia to be competitive on the global stage by demonstrating its competence of offering quality assurance for goods and services at the international stage. The visitors finally affirmed that the visit had given them confidence that the two institutions could collaborate.
