ECAE is providing training to quality control professionals from the Somaliland Quality Control Commission (SQCC) in various fields.  Six trainees are participating in the 12 days of hands on training, which is 20% theory and 80% practical training  on testing, inspection certification (product and management systems), and utilization of high-tech testing equipment based on the needs of SQCC.

The overall objective of hands-on training is to improve the SQCC staff’s capacity and equip them with the knowledge and abilities necessary to support and improve the competency of services in the field of conformity assessment in general and certification, inspection, testing, and calibration in particular. The training is in accordance with the MoU signed between Somaliland Quality Control Commission and the Ethiopian Conformity Assessment Enterprise.
