A PVoC (Pre-Export Verification of Conformity) scope expansion contract  amendment agreement has been signed between ECAE, COTECNA INSPECTION SA and BUREAU VERITAS KENYA LIMITED, the two international Conformity assessment agencies, to provide PVOC service on 11 additional types of imported products as a scope expansion to the one they have already signed and worked on Previously, Provision of Pre – Export Verification of Conformity (PVOC) to Standards Services for Stand-Alone Solar Products.  The purpose of this arrangement is to ensure the quality and compliance with regulatory requirements of imported products that cannot be tested by local laboratories.

The implementation of this PVoC program ensures that goods entering the nation are secure, of high quality, and compliant with regulations and would establish a conducive atmosphere for enforcing regulatory actions to safeguard consumers, the environment, and facilitate international cross border trade.
