A discussion held between ECAE and the International Center of Insect Physiology and Ecology, Ethiopia Country Office (ICIPE) to evaluate the outcomes of ICIPE’s prior capacity development program in ECAE, the ongoing work being done to assure the quality of honey and beeswax products, and additionally, to determine future areas of cooperation for the development of capacity in terms of test equipment and accreditation, and to get started by signing memorandum of understanding assuring the quality and safety of honey and beeswax products and to facilitate the export market.
