Quality Control Work Done on Imported Soil Fertilizers was Assessed.

The Ethiopian Conformity Assessment Enterprise together with representatives of the Ethiopian Agricultural Works Corporation has conducted a joint assessment of the quality control work done on soil fertilizers (UREA, NPS & NPSB) imported by the government and other related issues.

During the discussion, Mrs. Meaza Abera, the director general of ECAE, said that the enterprise provides services that are internationally recognized and accepted. She went on to describe the soil fertilizer quality control activities that the enterprise conducts at the Port of Djibouti and how efficient work is being done in collaboration with the corporation and other pertinent stakeholders to ensure quality.

In the discussion, Chief Executive Officer of Ethiopian Agricultural Works Corporation, Ato Kifle W/Mariam, expressed his gratitude to ECAE for its work on quality control of soil fertilizer and ECAE’s contribution to maintaining quality. And he explained that they are working together with ECAE on the quality management system (ISO 9001:2015) certification.
